MIRONENKO, MARGARET LOUISE
1951-2016
Margaret Louise Mironenko of Moncton and Shediac Cape, NB, wife of George Mironenko, passed away at the Moncton City Hospital on Tuesday, April 19th, 2016 at the age of 64. Born in Halcomb, NB, she is the daughter of Gloria (Murphy) Foran, and the late Delmont Foran.
In her early years, she worked for the city of Moncton. She volunteered at Moncton Montessori School. Margaret was a charter member of the Gourmet Club of Moncton. She was also an avid gardener, nature lover and adored animals.
Besides her loving husband George, she is survived by one son: Yuri Mironenko of Moncton, NB; seven sisters: Joanne (Roger) Somers of Sillikers, NB, Delalene (Hubert) Harris of Strathadam, NB, Ruth Mullin of Fredericton, Rita (David) Goodfellow of Miramichi, NB, Barbara (Roger) Frenette of Bathurst, NB, Faye Foran of Miramichi and Debbie (Leonard) Matchett of South Esk, NB; one brother: Daniel (Tanya) Foran of Hammonds Plains, NS; mother-in-law: Stella Mironenko; several nieces and nephews and her beloved schnauzer: Remi
Margaret is predeceased by her father: Delmont and husband George’s step-father: Peter Zwaris.
Please note: there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A public funeral service will be held from the Sterling Bell Memorial Chapel, 651 King George Highway, Miramichi, NB on Saturday, April 23rd at 11 AM with Father Dan Melanson officiating. Burial will follow at the St. Thomas Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Red Bank, NB.
