It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gordon Raymond Osmond announce his peaceful passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Home on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at the age of 96 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, sons: Sevison, Rod (Shirley), Wayne (Mary), and Gary (Sherri); grandchildren: Tammy Brake (Spencer), Paula Stagg (David), Patti Lou Park (Blaine), Craig Osmond (Loretta Pike), Kristy Osmond (Mark Brake), Emily, Jane, Peter, Stephen, David, Meagan and Melissa; great grandchildren: Cody, Patrick, Matthew, Julia, Simon, Jaden, and Chayter; sister: Evelyn Tilley; brother: Max Osmond; daughter in law: Ina Osmond; also a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife: Dinah; daughter: Laurie; sister in law: Dorothy (Edith) Stevenson, and daughter in law Leslie Osmond. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 10:30 a.m., with Reverend Canon Roberta Woodman officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
