MURRAY, RUTH
In her 96th year Ruth went to be with her Lord on April 20 2016 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Ruth was born in Bedford, Nova Scotia to the Late Elijah Stanley (Sophia Maud Brown) Heffler on August 31, 1920. Loving wife of the late George B. Murray.
Survived by daughter, Margret (Peggy) Lucinda McNeil (Hollis) and son, Robert George Murray (Nancy); Grandchildren, Shannon Duncan (Bob) of Moncton, Chrissy Madore (Mearle) of Wabasca, Alt., Robbie Murray (Sabrina) of St. John, NB, Jonathan Murray (Jen) of Middleton, NS, Nicholas Murray (Melissa) of Fraser Lake, BC., Amy Floyd (Ken) of Prince George BC; 11 grandchildren; sisters, Norma Sutherland of Halifax, NS, Joyce Heffler of Bedford, NS and Joan Eagles Cole of Harbour, NS; sister-in-law, Phyllis Murray of Chipman, NB; several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her loving husband George; infant daughter, Laura; brothers, Russell, Orland, Irving and Ralph; sisters, Ida Allison, Pearl Strathdee; brother-in-law, Clayton; sisters-in-law, Lois, Marjorie and Leota.
The family will receive comfort at the Chipman Funeral Home Ltd. & Crematorium on Friday, April 22, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. A Celebration of Ruth's life will be held from the Second Chipman United Baptist Church on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Gerald Burke officiating. Interment will be made in the First Chipman United Baptist Church Cemetery in Gaspereau Forks. Arrangements are in the compassionate care of Chipman Funeral Home Ltd. & Crematorium.
