It is with heavy hearts that the family of Heber Woodrow Card announce his sudden passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, in Corner Brook, NL, on Wednesday, April 20th, 2016, at the age of 74 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Leah nee Squires, his children Cindy (Louis) Pacheco, Candace Callahan, Cavelle Pearce and Cory (Natasha) Card, his special grandson Mark Callahan and loved grandchildren Hayley, Emily, Miranda, Chelsea, Cyanna and Nathan, his sisters Diane (Reuban) Purchase and Joyce Jacobs, his uncle Gerald Card. Heber was predeceased by his parents Lily and Chester Card, baby boy Card and his sister Florence (Cliff) Reid. Also leaving to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and friends. The family will be receiving family and friends at Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL, on Friday, April 22nd, 2016, from the hour of 3-4 and 7-9 pm. Then keeping with Heber's wishes cremation to follow. The memorial service will take place on Monday, April 26th, 2016, from the Salvation Army Church in Deer Lake, NL with Majors Wayne Pike and Major Henry Bingle officiating with the burial to follow at the family plot of the church cemetery on High Street, Deer Lake, NL.
