Gallant, Arthur
Arthur Gallant, 69, of Grand Barachois passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC on Thursday April 21th, 2016. Born in Rosaireville on June 11th, 1946, he was the son of the late Romuald and Marie (Mazerolle) Gallant.
He will be sadly missed by his wife in their 50th years of marriage, Marie Melanson; three children: Rachelle Gallant (Gilles Boudreau) of Dieppe, Denise Trueman (Peter) of Riverview, Paula Gallant (Jimmy Walling) of Dieppe; brothers and sisters: Julienne Pelletier (Robert) of Dalhousie, Lucien Gallant (Jacqueline) of Geary NB, Lilianne Aird (late Jim) of Shediac, Claudia Wiley (Reg) of Burton NB, Adrienne Comeau (Late Ovila) of Richibucto, Antoine Gallant (Rose) of Bouctouche; four grandchildren: Patrick, Dominic, Jessica, Cody and a special aunt, Thérèse Daigle of Moncton.
He was predeceased by his brother, Theodore and a sister-in-law, Antoinette Vautour of Moncton.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) on Tuesday April 26th from 7pm to 9pm only. The funeral will be held in St. Henri Roman Catholic church, Grand-Barachois on Wednesday April 27th at 10:30.
In memory of Arthur, a contribution to the oncology unity of the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC or to the St-Henri parish cemetery Grand-Barachois would be appreciated.
