PATTERSON, BEATRICE J.
Beatrice J. Patterson, 81, of Moncton, and formerly of Oxford, NS, passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday, April 24, 2016. Born in Cape Traverse, PE, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Janet (Nicholson) Cutcliffe.
Bea was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She attended the Moncton Gospel Hall.
Bea will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 58 years, Douglas C. Patterson; her daughters, Janet Good (Gary) of Ashford, CT, Eunice Hodgkins (David) of Cape Traverse, PE and Elaine Gaudreault (Yves) of Sackville; sons, Richard (Jennifer) and David (Angela), both of Moncton and Kevin (Karen) of Oxford, NS; grandchildren, Katherine, Kristen (Jonny), Kayla, Kevin, David, Clara, Annie, Sadie, Robert, Karissa, Patrick, Selina and Daniel; as well as the many children from Oxford, who she tenderly mothered; sisters, Donna Livingstone, Elizabeth Flack and Lynda Gardiner, all of PE; brother, Alger Cutcliffe (Elizabeth) of New Glasgow, NS; as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by sisters, Eleanor, Adele and Lois and brothers, Gordon, Byron, Gerald and Wendell.
Visitation hours at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (506-858-1995) on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. The funeral service for Bea will be held at the Moncton Gospel Hall, 895 Salisbury Road, on Friday, April 29, 2016 at 2:00 pm. Reception following the service. Interment will be held in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Mount Pleasant, NS on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 2:00 pm. All are welcome.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Moncton Gospel Hall Building Fund, the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
