Passed peacefully away at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Home on Monday, April 25, 2016 at the age of 92 years, Phyllis Eileen Richards. She will be lovingly remembered by her son: Garry (Ellen); daughter: Helen (John) Warren; grandchildren: Ian, Catherine (Johan), Shannon and Adam; brothers: Clayton (Violet) and Robert (Leona); sister: Joan (Ron); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Edgar (2010); daughter: Barbara; parents: Fred and Gladys Billard; Siblings: Ruth, Vivian, Margaret, George, Roy and Ralph; as well as her predeceased in-laws. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Thursday, between the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place on Friday, April 29, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from Oakland United Church, with Rev. Wendy Lowden officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oakland United Church, Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation or the charity of one's choice.
