GODIN, ERNEST JOSEPH
Ernest J. Godin of Fredericton and formerly of McAdam, NB, passed away on April 26, 2016 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Ernest was born in 1925 at Bathurst, NB, a son of the late Harold and Ella (Hachey) Godin.
Ernest was a Veteran of the Second World War.
He is survived by his common-law spouse, Glenna Meuse and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Nita (Griffiths) Godin; his second wife, June (Ball) Godin and his siblings, Cleford, Eileen, Gerald and Lloyd.
Visiting hours will be held at Swan Funeral Chapel, 1826 Route 3, Harvey Station, NB on Saturday, April 30, 2016 from 12 noon until 2 pm, followed by the funeral service at 2 pm with Pastor Stephen Tompkins officiating. Interment will be later at Rockland Cemetery.
