Cold Brook
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Cornelius Blanchard announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook on Thursday April 28th, 2016 at the age of 77 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Rita, his five sons: Ronnie, Peter (Kim), Eddy (Dot), Sam (Cora) and Tony (Kerry) all in Cold Brook, his daughter Jane (Paul) Coombs in Paradise NL, his nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn his three brothers: Danny (Joanne), Albert (Cynthia) and Brian all in Cold Brook, his four sisters: Anne Hibbetts, Joan (Mike) White, Selena (Henry) White and Marie (Dave) Barter all in Cold Brook along with many relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents John and Emma, his two sons John and Jude, his two brothers Jackie and Mark and his sister Jean Jesso. Funeral services will take place on Saturday April 30th 2016 at 10 am from St. Stephen's Parish on West Street. In keeping with the family's wishes, cremation will follow the funeral mass. The family will be receiving friends on Friday April 29th 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm from Russell's Funeral Home 57 Prince Rupert Drive in Stephenville.
