COCCI, ALBERT Sr.
Wolfeboro, NH - Albert A. Cocci, Sr., 69, of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, passed away after a courageous battle on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born on July 20, 1946 in Leominster, MA the son of the late Albert A. and Marjorie (Morgan) Cocci.
Albert worked his entire career as a chemical and environmental engineer, serving as vice president of ADI Systems in New Brunswick, Canada.
Albert was a 1964 graduate of Leominster High School, graduated Lowell Tech University in 1968 and earned a PhD from the University of Fredericton, in New Brunswick, Canada in 1973.  Al lived in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada from 1970-1988. In 1988, Albert and his family moved to Salem, NH, at which time he opened and managed the U.S. branch of ADI Systems.  He retired in 2014.   He and his wife, Diane, have lived in Wolfeboro, NH since 2008. 
Al was a member of the Professional Engineers of New Brunswick and New Hampshire.  He loved to hunt and fish and took pride in his gardening.  He also enjoyed target and skeet shooting with his friends in and around Wolfeboro.
Albert is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Diane (Knudsen) Cocci, of Wolfeboro, NH and his two sons, Albert A. Cocci, Jr. and his wife, Amy, of Londonderry, NH and Daniel Cocci and his wife, Anne, of Newmarket, NH. He was a loving Papa to his five grandchildren:  Dylan, Matthew, Luke, Elise and Penelope.  Albert is also survived by a sister, Suzanne Melanson, of Leominster, MA, and several nephews, nieces and cousins.
There will be no calling hours. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 1:00 pm at the Wolfeboro Falls Baptist Church, Center Street, Wolfeboro, NH.
