It is with heavy hearts that the family of Theresa Mary Gould age 79 of Amherst, announce her passing on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Center, Upper Nappan.
Born on Minto, NB. She was a daughter of the late Amos and Annie (MacGraw) Gould.
Theresa worked at the Highland View Regional Hospital for 20 years. In retirement Theresa was a tireless VON and Meals on Wheels volunteer. In her spare time, she enjoyed long walks and working in her flower garden.
She will be fondly remembered by her children, Stephen (Ursula) and Sandra (Stephen) Bird; grandchildren Jodie, Tessa, Jeffrey, Emma and Rachel and many nieces and nephews.
Theresa was predeceased by her husband Earl.
Interment will take place Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at 11 am in the Amherst Cemetery followed by a Celebration of Life from 12 – 2 pm at Campbell’s Funeral Home, 98 Church St. Amherst.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Theresa’s memory to the Amherst VON or to the charity of your choice.
