It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ludrick Crane announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Monday, May 2, 2016 at the age of 76 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 50 years, Theresa Crane; children: Ludrick (Shelia), Irene (Gord), Connie (Mike) and Rick (Jennifer); brother George; sister Bessie; grandchildren: Carla, Kayla and Kendra; great-grandchildren: Colby, Nathaniel, Jordan and Rayyn; poppy's little boy Buddy; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Nathaniel and Francis; son Ricky; sisters: Velma and Melinda; brothers: William and Hilliard. The family would like to extend special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Cancer Ward at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, the supportive staff at Country Haven, Cindy-Lee Park and Tammy Park of Maximum Home Support Services, and the lovely staff of the Daffodil Place - Canadian Cancer Society. Visitation will take place at St. Nicholas' Anglican Church, 96 Main St., Cox's Cove on Friday from 7-9 pm and Saturday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, from where the funeral service will take place on Sunday, May 8, 2016 at 2:00 pm with Reverend Charlene Laing officiating. In keeping with Ludrick's wishes, cremation will take place with interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ludrick's memory may be made to the family.
