We, the family of Edna Mae Karn, regret to announce her passing on Thursday, May 5, 2016, at Queen’s Manor, Liverpool, N.S.
Born February 13, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Mary (Lawrence) Shubley.
Edna is survived by her daughter, Beth (Allan) LaRocque, Liverpool; grandchildren, Christopher LaRocque, Liverpool, Kevin LaRocque, Calgary and Tanya (Pascal) Johanny, N.B.; great-grandchildren, Jessica and Zachary LaRocque, Liverpool and Alex and Patrick Johanny, N.B.
She was predeceased by her husband, George; son, George; sisters, Hazel and Sadie; brothers, Henry and Joe.
Visitation will take place at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Monday from 10-11 a.m., followed by a service in the chapel at 11 a.m., Archdeacon Brenda Drake officiating. Interment in Forest Haven Memorial Gardens.
