Passed away suddenly but peacefully on Friday, May 6, 2016. Predeceased by her husband Frank; parents Stanley and Gertrude Walsh and brothers Gabriel (Gabe) and John Walsh. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her devoted daughters Jill (Alex) Kane, Janet Philpott and son Mark (Paul); precious grandchildren whom she cherished and adored Matthew and Michael and Gabriella; brother Kenneth (Betty); sisters Ruth (Gerald) Fallon, Patricia (George) Mandeville; sisters - in - law Helen Walsh and Rita Walsh; the Philpott family, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, especially her best friend Margaret Meaney, her card group friends and good neighbour Greg Fardy. Cremation has taken place at Ellen's request. Visitation from Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Tuesday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. - 12 noon, 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held from Mary Queen of the World Parish on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Lung Association.
