William Clarence Ripley

The passing of William Clarence Ripley of Keswick Ridge, NB, husband of Bernice (Norquay) Ripley occurred on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.
Born on January 10, 1934 in Truemanville, NS, he was the son of the late Allison and Weselean (Goodwin) Ripley. He was a member of the Keswick Ridge United Church. William was a carpenter. He was a former member of the NB Wildlife Federation. William enjoyed hunting, bowling and liked to play cards.
In addition to his wife, William is survived by his sons, Darren Ripley (Tracey) of Burlington, ON and Shawn Ripley (Kristina) of Keswick Ridge, NB; grandchildren, Emma and Olivia and their mother, Stephanie Saunders; sisters, Mary Mack, Flora Caissie (Fred), Sarah Arsenault (Fred), Janey Arsenault (Pat), Marjorie Brown, Barbara Hope (Bruce) and Helen Brine (David Paugh); brothers, Melbourne Ripley, Robert Ripley (Doris), Albion Ripley (Joy), Allison, Coates and Joe Ripley; brother-in-law Leon Brown; sister-in-law, Rose Ripley; 51 nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by sister, Elda Leadbetter (Larry) and brother, Melvin Ripley.
Visitation took place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Thursday, March 10, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service was held at Keswick Ridge United Church on Friday, March 11, 2016 at 2 pm with Rev. David Luker officiating.
A graveside service will be held May 13, 2016 at 4 p.m. at the Pickard-Marrithew Cemetery, Keswick Ridge, N.B.
