SURETTE, JACK LEE
1942 – 2016
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jack L. Surette, 74, of Shediac River, with his loving family at his side, on Saturday, May 7, 2016. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Frank and Verna Surette.
Jack was the founder of Eagle Tractor Inc., Irishtown. The friendships he made at Eagle Tractor have lasted a life time. A prankster, he enjoyed a good laugh, but his true pride was found in his love for his family.
Jack will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 51 years, Aldea (Bastarache) Surette; daughter, Dawn (Keith) and son, Jeffrey (Shawna); two grandsons, Quinn and Declan; granddaughter, Savannah; sisters, Joyce Richard (Donald) and Janet Ward (Bob).
A service to celebrate Jack’s life will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 1:00 pm. A time of reception and fellowship will be held at the Funeral Home Reception Centre from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Interment will be held at St. Lawrence O’Toole Cemetery, Irishtown.
In memory of Jack, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
