Passed peacefully away after a courageous battle with cancer in the presence of his loving family at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, Kevin Hawco of Chapel's Cove in his 85th year. Predeceased by his parents: Thomas & Lucy Hawco, infant daughter, parents-in-law: John & Mary Fewer, sisters: Lena, Anastasia, Bertha & Rose, brothers: Frank & Raymond, brother-in-law: Joe Fewer. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife of 58 years, Belle (nee Fewer), sons: Derek (Karen), Randy (Ingrid), Glenn (Siobhan), & Kevin, daughter: Sharlene (Michael), his eight grandchildren whom he adored: Scott, Jeff, Jennifer, Chad, Kerstin, Devin, Harrison & Jeanné, two great-grandchildren: Blake and J'lyn, brothers-in-law: Lou (Mary), Fred (Helen), Michael (Mona), and Angus Fewer, also many nieces & nephews and a large circle of extended family and friends. Resting at Dunphy's Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation on Thursday & Friday from 2 pm - 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place from SS. Peter & Paul Church, Harbour Main at 10:30 am on Saturday, May 14, 2016. Interment to follow at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Chapel's Cove. Donations in his memory may be made to SS.
