Kirk Douglas Lemmons – 45, Spryfield, passed away on May 12, 2016 in QE II Halifax Infirmary.

Kirk enjoyed his walks with Ruby as well as attending movies with Ruby and nephew Jonathan. An Elvis fan at heart, he enjoyed listening to music and spending time with family and friends. He will be remembered for his kindness and sense of humour. In Kirk’s earlier days, he spent time in the Militia but a repelling accident in 1992 left him disabled. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Kirk is survived by common law spouse, Ruby; parents, Irma and Kenneth Lemmons; sisters, Beverly (Basil) Crowe, Bonnie (David) Harnish, Janice Manley and Cindy Lemmons; brother, David Lemmons; nieces, Nicole Schrader (Ryan) , Lacey Lemmons, Courtney (Daniel) Crowe; nephews, James Harnish (Brianne), Matthew Harnish, Jonathan Harnish, Corey Manley (Ashley), Craig (Jillian) Manley, Nicolas Crowe, Aaron Lemmons-Tipping; great nieces and nephews, Autumn, Brooklynn, Peyton and Nevyn; numerous aunts and uncles.

Kirk was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Celia and Alfred Lynds; paternal grandparents, Armina and Warren Lemmons.

Cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, May 16th at 1pm in West Branch Cemetery, MacCallum Settlement with Pastor Scott Penner, officiating. Donations in Kirk’s memory may be made to the Truro Alliance Church, Building Fund. Arrangements have been entrusted to Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro.
