Passed peacefully away in the presence of his family at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St. John's, on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at the age of 72 years, Lewis Frank Williams, Paradise, NL, formerly of Lethbridge, NL. where he completed his teaching career as vice-principal with the Vista School District. Lewis is predeceased by his parents Arthur and Mary Williams, Pool's Cove, NL. Leaving to mourn with wonderful memories his loving and devoted wife Joyce (Pye); sons: Darryl (Joy), Botwood, and John (Cindy), Cold Lake, AB, honorary son Shawn Chatman (Pauline), Lethbridge, NL; grandchildren: Diana, Shannon and Stephanie; brother-in-law Abel Pye (Sharon); sisters-in-law: Ruby Claxton, Florence Ash, Betty Holloway, Theodora Bowen (Garfield), Rosalind Pye (Manse); special family friend Roxanne Clarke; cousins: Marion (Rev. Eric Hillier), Grace (Frank Williams), Jaunita (Calvin Andrews), Christine (Winston Keeping). Also, a number of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Special thank you to the staff at 4th Floor West and I.C.U. at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital. By his request, cremation has taken place. Visitations will take place at Fewer's Funeral Home, Lethbridge on Monday, May 16, 2016 at 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Funeral Service to take place on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at 2 PM from United Church, Lethbridge with interment at the United Church Cemetery, Lethbridge. As expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Diabetes Association or Charity of one's choice.
