It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Agnes McCarthy announce her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital on Monday, May 16, 2016 at the age of 83 following a long battle with cancer. She will be sadly missed by her brother Al (Georgina) of Highlands, sister, Maureen (Willie) Alley of St. Davids, along with many special nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Robert & Angela, brother, Jim, sisters, Doreen, Kathleen, Marie, Margaret, and Pauline. The family will be receiving friends at St. Columcille Church in St. Fintans on Wednesday May 18 2016, from 7-9 PM from where the Funeral will take place on Friday May 20th, 2016 at 2 pm with inurnment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Highlands.
