VERA MARIE McNUTT (née Hill)
January 11th, 1925 – May 15th, 2016
Vera Marie McNutt, aged 91 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Sunday, May 15th, 2016. Vera was born to Charles and Ina Hill in London, ON and raised in the Buttress district. She married Ralph McNutt on September 20th, 1943. Vera was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was an excellent cook. Family and friends were the most important things in her life. Vera loved gardening, music and cards. She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Ina Hill; husband, Ralph McNutt; grandson, Justin McNutt; and son-in-law, Jerome Ludwig. Vera is survived by her brother, Jack (Evelyn); children: Faye Ludwig, Ron McNutt, Bob (Sue) McNutt and Joan (Doug) Gomersall; grandchildren: Jim, Janice, Joe, Pat (Lindsay), Tammy (Bo), Sherry (Gareth), Cindy (Chad), Mike, Marcy (Kevin), Lorna, Bobbie (Chas), Lacey (Kevin), Kim, Jim-Bob (Doris) and Clint (Lisa); 27 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the staff at Crescent Park Villa for their kindness and care for our mother. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 20th, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Bill Luther will officiate and interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery.
