Passed peacefully away at Labrador City Health Centre on Saturday, May 14, 2016, David Dobbin of Wabush at the age of 79. Predeceased by his parents Sally and Bernard, brother Sam (Edna), sister Doreen Tobin (Pat) and Ellie Push, nephews Barry Fagan and Mervin Dobbin. Leaving to mourn: his loving wife of 48 years Caroline; son David of St. John's; daughter Jeannine (Mike) of Labrador City, grandchildren Miranda and Lauren and their father Randy Winter; brothers Bernard (Diane) of St. John's, Pad (Bernadette) of Gaskiers; sisters Sadie (Steve) of St. John's, Joan of Clarenville, Rita of St. John's, Mathilda (Chuck) of Montreal and Theresa (Gaetan) of Toronto; sisters-in-law Madonna Critch (Ralph) of St. John's, Theresa Daley (Gerard) of St. John's; brothers-in-law Harry Lee (Betty) of Toronto and Mike Comerford (Josephine) of St. John's. Dave will also be missed by his large circle of relatives, especially the Tobin family and many friends. Visitation took place at Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Wabush on May 16, 2016 and May 17, 2016. Funeral Mass was held at the church on May 17, 2016 followed by interment at the Wabush Cemetery.
