Passed away quietly surrounded by family at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John's after complications from his battle with diabetes. Gerard will be remembered for his great sense of humour, quick wit, love of animals, for his compassion and empathy for the patients he cared for as a personal care attendant. Gerard is preceded by his mother Bernice, father Gerard Sr. and his dear niece Melissa. Gerard is survived by his step-mother Christina Willcott; Brothers- Rocky Hoskins, BC; Corey Willcott, ON; Tom Organ (Meg) Conne River; Greg Organ (Marilyn) St. Veronica's; Fabian Organ (Janet) Cape Ray; David Organ GFW; Eugene Organ (Edie) CBS; Earl Organ (Karen) St. Veronica's; Sisters - Rose McCarthy(Frank) Mississauga; Helena Wall (Bryan) Cape Ray; Audrey Benoit (Brian) Conne River; Matilda Culleton (Mike) Mississauga; Germaine King (Wayne) Brampton; Gerarda Organ(James) Brampton; his beloved nephew Jacob among many Aunts & Uncles, Nieces & Nephews and a very large circle of friends. Cremation will take place at Caul's Funeral Home, St. John's followed by a celebration of life in St. Veronica's on Sunday, July 24th, 2016 in keeping with his wishes.
