Passed peacefully away on May 18th, 2016 at the Health Science Centre surrounded by his loving family and wife Joyce in his 84th year, Frederick "Fred" Hiscock of St. John's, NL. Predeceased by his first wife of 45 years Elsie. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Joyce; his children: Wayne (Joslyn), Randy (Pamela), Beverley Power (Craig), Debbie Power (Gary), Jim (Kelly) and grandchildren: Ryan and Kyle, Jonathan and Julie, Angela Baker (Chad), Lauren Byrne (Brad), Nicholas, Mackenzie and Reegan; great grandchildren: Grady and Riley Baker and Avery and Liam Byrne who brought him so much joy in his later years. Also, leaving to mourn sisters: Eileen Butt, and Shirley (Bob) Miller and sister-in-law Ella Cook (Herb) and numerous nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by his step children: Lorne and Danny Jenkins and Lori Myers and families. Special thanks to the Emergency Room Staff and the staff on 4NorthA. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Thursday 7-9 pm and Friday 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service to be held at the Anglican Cathedral of St. John the Baptist on Saturday May 21st at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
