Passed peacefully away with his family by his side at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Thursday, May 19, 2016, Ivan Strange, age 78 years. Predeceased by his parents, Robert and Myrtle Strange; brothers: David and Howard; brothers-in-law: Charlie Squires and Bill Aitken. Leaving to mourn, loving wife Barbara; children: Elizabeth (Richard) and Andrea; beloved grandchildren: Bradley and Sarah; brothers: Olaf (Mary Kay) and Lewis (Mandy); sisters: Marjorie and Beverley (Al); sister-in-law, Vera Strange (Sid); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Saturday, May 21, from 11am-9pm. Funeral service to take place from First United Church on Monday, May 23, 2016 at 2:00pm, with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
