Step-mother of David Roper (Linda) and Marilyn Hynes (Jack). Loving grandmother of Kathy Anne Barker (Keith), Krista Ling (Shannon Grinton), Kandace McEntee (Jeff), Craig McGillivray (Jilian Maddin), Elissa McGillivray (Josh Randell), Katherine Cross (Michael), Benjamin Wood, Rachelle Wood (Jacques Ferrari) and Melanie Wood (Kim Bethke). Lovingly remembered by her 11 great-grandchildren. Sister-in-law of Jean Baker.
Predeceased by her husbands Theo Ling and Gordon Roper, by her parents Cleveland C. and Ethel (Johnson) Baker, infant daughter and siblings Mildred Cooke (Gordon), Don Baker, Gladys Carruthers (Arthur), Audrey Paynter (Verdon) and Marjorie Saint (Jack).
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where the funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday at 10 a.m. Interment in People’s Cemetery, Kensington. Visitation Thursday 4-7 p.m. Flowers gratefully declined. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Provincial Palliative Care Centre. Due to severe allergies, please refrain from wearing scents.
