The death occurred at the Maplewood Manor, Alberton, on Monday, May 23, 2016, of Edna Gaudet, formerly of St. Louis aged 94 years. Wife of the late Roland Gaudet and remarried to Joe Charlie Gaudet. She was born in Leoville on August 28, 1921, the daughter of the late Alfie and Celeste (Laviolette) Gaudet. She is survived by 4 sons and 3 daughters Viola Gaudet (late Arthur), St. Catherine, Ont.; Cedric Gaudet (Betty), St. Catherine, Ont.; Willard Gaudet (Helen), Pickering, Ont.; Clarence Gaudet (Marie); Patrick Gaudet (late Kay); Anne Marie Perry (Bill) and Linda Lanteigne (Alcide) all of St. Catherine, Ont. Loving grandmother to Mitchel, Laura, Spencer, Diana, Anthony, Geoffrey, Emily, Roland, Daphne, Mandy, Joey, Kathy, Joyce, Ross and numerous great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson Noah. She was predeceased by her parents Alfie and Celeste; sister Rita; brothers Edmond, Ceofred, Clarence and stepsisters and brother Emma, Calais, Dora and Clara. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road, for visiting hours Thursday 7-9 p.m. Funeral will be held Friday, May 27, at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road, with funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Memorial donations to the Immaculate Conception Church Paint Fund would be greatly appreciated.
