LEGER, GENEVIEVE "VADA"
1912-2016
Genevieve “Vada” Leger, 104, formerly of Dieppe, passed away peacefully on Friday May 27, 2016 at K.E. Spencer Nursing Home in Moncton. Born on May 9, 1912 in Blackville, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Underhill) Lynch.
She was the former owner-operator of Modern Furniture in Dieppe.
She is survived by one son, Darrell of Dieppe; three grandchildren: Darren, Nicole and Roxanne; one great-granddaughter, Mary-Lu; one sister: Dorothy Boyle of New York; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Laurie (2004); her sisters and brothers: Helene, Elizabeth, Mary, Lilianne, Lyla, Harold, Jane and Lester.
By request, there will be no visitation. The funeral service will be celebrated at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Tuesday May 31, 2016 at 1:30 pm. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe.
