MacQUEEN, PEARL MARJORIE
Pearl M. MacQueen of Fredericton, NB passed away on May 28, 2016 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Pearl was born at Zealand, NB in 1939, a daughter of the late Ernest and Eva (Shepard) Brewer.
She enjoyed cooking, baking, quilting and spending time with all of her grandchildren. Pearl was a member of the Burtts Corner Baptist Church and Robyn’s Seniors Group.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda Belliveau, Blackville, NB; two sons, Rod MacQueen and Jeff MacQueen (Juanita), both of Douglas, NB; seven grandchildren, Tanner Belliveau, Fredericton, NB, Tyler Belliveau (Alissa), Hanwell, NB, Travis Belliveau (Jasmine), Miramichi, NB, Cody MacQueen (Paige), Woodstock, NB, Connor MacQueen, Hailee MacQueen and Alex MacQueen, all of Douglas, NB; two great-grandchildren, Alanna and Ethan Belliveau; two brothers, Arnold Brewer, Zealand, NB and Ernest Brewer Jr., Lower Hainesville, NB; five sisters, Darlene Morehouse (Vernon), Burtts Corner, NB, Maureen Estey (Eugene), Zealand, NB, Colleen Tranquilla, Millville, NB, Chloe Morehouse, Fredericton, NB and Heather Ann Betts (Harold), Zealand, NB; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Leslie MacQueen and one brother, Ewart Brewer.
Although there will be no visitation, friends are welcome to attend a graveside service at the St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery, Zealand, NB on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 2 pm with The Venerable John Sharpe and Rev. Stephen Hoyt officiating. A reception will follow at the Burtts Corner Baptist Church.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Pearl, the family has suggested the SPCA or the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation.
