MAGEE, DORIS PAULINE (CRAWFORD)
Doris Pauline Magee, 92, of McLaughlin Drive, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, May 29, 2016, at home surrounded by her family after a brief illness with cancer. Born on July 8, 1923 in Lewisville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Bertram and Clara (Grant) Crawford. On April 24, 1943, she married her sweetheart C. Paul Magee (2000) and together they raised a family of six children.

She will be sadly missed by Brenda (late Richard) Ricker of Riverview, Ralph (Ann) of Moncton, Elizabeth (Lawrence) Bulmer of Salisbury West, Barbara (late Bev) Rideout of Salisbury West, Kenneth (Shannon) at home and Judy (Colin) Allen of Salisbury West. Also, her beloved cat tiger. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 23 great‑ grandchildren and four great‑great‑ grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

After raising her family, she went to work as a Post Mistress at Shopper’s Drug Mart, Moncton Mall, until her retirement in 1988.

She had a passion for gardening and had beautiful flowers that people stopped to admire and plenty of fresh vegetables for her family. She also loved to knit for her family and all of the grandbabies came home in an outfit knit by Nanny Magee. Her family came first as she loved them all unconditionally and was loved by all.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, C. Paul; brother, Kenneth; grandson, Todd; Daughter‑in‑law, Karen; sons‑in‑law, Bev and Richard.

Visitation will be held at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. A Celebration of Life service will be held in the chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 11 am with Pastor Gordon Horsman officiating. Interment will be held at Elmwood Cemetery.

Special thanks to Dr. Park, Donna Beers and Mike Trueman who went above and beyond and for their care and thoughtfulness and the Extra Mural nurses for their care and who helped us through this difficult time.

BECAUSE OF HIGHLY ALLERGIC REACTIONS BY FAMILY MEMBERS, NO PERFUME OR COLOGNES PLEASE!

Arrangements entrusted to Fair Haven Funeral Home, 1177 Salisbury road, Moncton, 852‑3530. Online condolences can be made at www.fairhavenmomorial.ca
