Peacefully, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital with family by his side on Monday, May 30, 2016 of Tommy MacDonald, Stratford, formerly of Little Pond, age 69 years. Beloved husband of Jerryldine Macdonald (nee MacDonald) and dear father of Bradley (Iain) Edinburgh, Scotland. Predeceased by loving daughter Sherri Lynn. He is survived by brothers and sisters Peggy (Jim) Weavers, Charlottetown; Carl (Donna) Mount Herbert; Judy Butte (Keith) Little Pond; Eddy, Little Pond; Janet O’Connor (Mike), Whitehorse; Stella Leslie (Paul), Whitehorse. Fondly remembered by brother-in-law and sisters-in-law Bette McAree (Merlin), Newport; Mary Jo MacDonald, Charlottetown: Charlie “C.D” (Karen), Charlottetown; Jan MacDonald, Little Pond. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his loving daughter, he was predeceased by his brother John Desmond and his parents, Edward and Gertrude MacDonald and mother and father-in-law Angus Dan and Josephine MacDonald. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home until Friday at 9:45 a.m. then to St. Pius X Church for funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery.
