It is with heavy hearts that the families of Jeremiah Brenton announce his sudden passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL, on Sunday, May 29th, 2016, at the age of 85 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his children Barry (Wavey) Brenton of Fort McMurray, Alberta, Wallace (Leanne) Brenton, of Fort McMurray, Alberta, Malcolm (Carol) Brenton of Edmonton, Alberta, Elias Brenton, of Paradise, NL, Cyril (Kelly) Brenton and Gilbert (Tammy) Brenton both of Yellowknife, NT, his 11 grandchildren Bradley (Krista), Ryan (Catherine), Brandon, Justin, Carly, Lisa (Evan), Jerri, Sarah (Jeff), Victoria, Braden and Brianna, his 8 great-grandchildren Brooke, Gage, Landon, Liam, Isabella, Halle, Grayson and Thomas, his sister Mrs. Lucy (Edmund) Cassell, of Hampden, NL. Jeremiah was predeceased by his wife Martha Marie Brenton nee Pittman, his sons Chesley Morris Brenton and Kenneth Brenton, his brother James Brenton, Also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and friends. The family will be receiving family and friends from St. Bartholomew Anglican Church in Jackson's Arm, NL, on Tuesday, May 31st, 2016 from the hours of 7-9 pm, and continuing on Wednesday, June 1st, 2016 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9, where also the funeral service will take place from on Thursday, June 2nd, 2016, at 2 pm with Rev. Jennifer Renouf officiating with the burial to follow at the family plot of the Church Cemetery in Jackson's Arm, NL.
