Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre in the presence of his loving family, Phonse Hawco, of Chapel's Cove in his 97th year. Predeceased by his wife Margaret, parents James and Mary, siblings: Jack, William, Anne, Maria, Nell and Mae. Left with fond and loving memories are his children: Jim (Pam), Leo (Lorna), Regina, Anne, Robert (Rhonda), Brian, Bernadine (Stewart), his grandchildren: Pamela, James, Matthew, Michael, Jane, Janet, Terry, Adrian, Vickie, Bobby, Jesse, Thomas, Kimberly and Katheryn, great-grandchildren: Nicholas, Dylan, Hayley, Jordan, Avery and Logan, brother-in-law Leonard Doyle, sisters-in-law Pauline Hickey and Joan Doyle, dedicated nephew James Dalton, numerous loving nieces, nephews and a large circle of extended family and friends. Resting at Dunphy's Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral will take place at 11 am on Saturday, June 4, 2016 with Mass of Christian Burial from SS. Peter & Paul Church, Hr. Main. Interment will be in the SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Chapel's Cove. Donations in his memory may be made to SS. Peter & Paul Church, Hr. Main.
