Scott Earle Fiske
Age 52, born in Bath, Maine, passed away peacefully Friday morning, June 3, 2016 at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
He was a very special part of our family and will be dearly missed. He thrived while living with his buddies (roommates) and staff at his home on St. Bernard Street in New Glasgow whom he loved as a family.
Scottie, (Skit), enjoyed a full life of music, playing the spoons, dancing, golfing, Special Olympics, videos, movies, bowling, playing jokes, endless road trips, entertainment and the Toronto Maple Leafs. Scott was a long-time employee of Summer Street Industries. He worked in the woodworking and maintenance departments, retiring after 26 years.
Scott is survived by his mother, Sally Jean Fiske; his sisters, Bonnie Lee Luxton, Black River, Heather Jean Fiske, Riverton and Jami Ann Fay (Paul), Liverpool; and by his brother, Robert Franklin Fiske, Oromocto, N.B.; and by his six nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father, Franklin Robert Fiske.
A special thanks to the staff of St. Bernard Street and MacBeth Road for their support and grateful for the care he received at the Palliative Care Unit. A service of celebration will be held at the St. David’s Presbyterian Church, Toney River on June 10, 2016 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Gregory Dickson officiating.
