RYERSON, Brian Lindsay- age 67 - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brian, on June 2, 2016 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital with family by his side. Born in Yarmouth on May 7, 1949, he was the son of the late Lindsay and Annie (Baker) Ryerson. Brian worked for many years at Cook's Dairy Farm Ltd. before starting his own successful business, Ryerson's Garage Ltd. Brian was a very hard working man who enjoyed many activities which included woodworking in his shop, gardening, fishing, and fixing things for himself as well as countless others. He also enjoyed a good card game from time to time. He enjoyed travelling and was able to visit many places over the years. He is survived by his son, Brent Ryerson (Chuck), Yarmouth Co., and daughter, Kim Carroll (Sean), Yarmouth Co.; grandchildren, Kaitlin and Brandon; sisters, Joyce Vacon (Danny), Yarmouth and Linda Ruttan, Ontario; brother, Robert Ryerson (Ann), Yarmouth Co.; sister-in-law Donna Ryerson. He was predeceased by his wife Faye; mother, Annie; brother Lance; brother-in-law, Don Ruttan and nephew, Brian Ryerson. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Sweeny's Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. There was no visitation by family request. A Memorial Service was held Friday, June 10 at 2:00 pm from Sweeny's Funeral Chapel, Rev. A.D. "Bill" Newell officiated. Interment followed in Brooklyn Cemetery. Family Flowers only please.
