MINER, SADIE BENTLEY
The passing of Sadie Bentley Miner of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on July 25, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Ed and Ruth (Briggs) Smith.

Sadie’s patience and ability to see the good in people and things around her were a source of inspiration for her family and friends.

Sadie is survived by her husband, Cecil Miner of Doaktown, NB; daughter, Daphne Geneau (Jim); grandchildren, Shawn Pleunis (Angeline) and Stephanie Hunter (Larry); great grandchildren, Brooke Hulford and Myles Hunter.; siblings, Mike Smith (Corie), Craig Smith (Victoria), Russell Smith (Pat), Wendell Smith (Marie), Sharon Gallup (Robert), Gail Hart (Robert), Carol Burtt (Gordon), Sabra Lafrance (Eldon); sister in law, Barb Smith; several special nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Sadie was predeceased by her sister, Bird Palmer; brothers, Dwight, Farrell and Reid. There will be no visitation by request of the family. A Funeral Service will take place at Nashwaaksis United Church, 46 Main Street on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 1 pm with Rev. J. D. Kennedy officiating.
