Isabelle Dumanski

Passed on: June 7th, 2016

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Isabelle Dumanski at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital, on June 7, 2016 at the age of 83. She was born in the Wolseley, SK area on November 22, 1932. Isabelle was raised on a farm near Sintaluta and attended school there. She married Junior Seaberly and they raised their family on a farm in the Belle Plaine area, later moving to Moose Jaw and where she worked at Valley View Centre for many years. Isabelle married Darwin Dumanski in 1990 and they resided in Moose Jaw. Mom especially enjoyed gardening, baking, playing cards and watching sports. She was an exceptional cook, passing those skills on to her grandchildren who she loved to spend time with. Predeceased by her husband Darwin; brothers Henry, Ron, and Clem; and sister Madeline, she will be greatly missed by her daughters: Donna (Doug) Ayres – Okotoks, AB and Dee Dee (Randy) Wilkinson – Moose Jaw; grandchildren: Jason (Holly) Street, and their children Dom, Katie, Ali and Ava; Jodi (James) Brock, and their daughter Charleigh – Okotoks; Shelby Wilkinson (Tyson Gader), and Ashley Wilkinson (Kyle McKibben) - Moose Jaw; sister Fran Rule; sister-in-law Marlene Dolter; many wonderful friends, nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog Lacey. Special thanks to Father Rick Krofchek, and the staff on the Medicine Unit at the Hospital for their care and compassion, both to Mom and the family. In keeping with Mom’s wishes, a private family interment will take place at Sunset Cemetery. Della Ferguson will officiate. Donations to the Moose Jaw Health Foundation, 55 Diefenbaker Drive, S6J 0C2, would be appreciated. In living memory of Isabelle, a memorial planting will be made by W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home.
