The death occurred at the Summerset Manor, Summerside, on Thursday, June 9, 2016, of Wendall Lyle, of Summerside, aged 78 years. Born in Summerside, he was the son of the late Ralph and Eva (Connell) Lyle. Survived by his wife Elizabeth “Betty” (Tuplin) Lyle; children Yvonne (Josh) Miller and David (Patricia) Lyle; stepchildren Nancy Heaney, John (Joan) Waite, Terry (Judith) Waite, Ron (Barbara) Waite, Kenny (Betty) Waite, Thane Waite (Cathy Bryanton), Lori (Michael) Abbot; 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters Joyce (Robert) Gordon, Claude (Janet) Lyle, Claudia (Reagh) Clark, Ron (Judy) Lyle; sister-in-law Nancy Lyle and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a stepdaughter Linda Waite; a son-in-law Kenneth Heaney and a brother Garth Lyle. Resting at Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Wednesday, then to St. John’s Anglican Church, St. Eleanors, for funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. John’s Anglican Church Cemetery.
