Anna Irene Hagerty (Read) December 7, 1927 – June 6, 2016 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our mother Anna. She is survived by five children: Susan (Rick), Vern (Vicki), Steven (Nancy), Dennis and Grant (Nadia); eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mom was predeceased by her husband Raymond in 2006 and son Allan in 1956. One of eleven children, Anna was born in the Stony Beach area to George and Laura Read. In 1946 she married Ray and they began farming at Belle Plaine, raising their family on the farm. They moved into Moose Jaw in 1988. Mom loved travelling, card games and socializing with family and friends. A celebration of Anna’s life will be held at W.J. Jones & Son Chapel, Moose Jaw, Tuesday, June 14 at 1:00 pm. Della Ferguson will officiate. Interment will take place at Regina Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorial donations in Anna’s name may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. The family extends special thanks to the caregivers at Crescent Park Retirement Villa where mom lived the past two years. In living memory of Anna, a memorial planting will be made by W. J.
