FITZGERALD, MARGARET
Margaret Ann Fitzgerald passed with peace and grace on Friday, June 10, 2016, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton. Born on March 14, 1936, in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Adella (Wetmore) Dow.

Margaret is survived by a son, Robert Fitzgerald (Joanne) of Davidson Lake, NB; a daughter, Janet Tait of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Jason (Melanie), Jamie (Annie), Heather (Justin), Becky (Phil) and Krista (Corey); great–grandchildren, Hailey, Emma, Chase, Élise and a future great–grandson in July 2016; two wonderful sisters, Joan Crawford of Rusagonis, NB, and Connie Craven (Chuck) of Saint John, NB; as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents Margaret was predeceased by her loving husband David Fitzgerald in 1997.

She had a passion for animals, especially cats, and will be sadly missed by Copper and Bo. She enjoyed shopping, going to the movies and spending time with her family. She will always be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.

The family will receive visitors at McAdam’s Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 14, 2016, from 3 till 6 PM, followed by a funeral service at6:00 PM in the J.A. McAdam Memorial Chapel. Interment will take place after the service in Forest Hill Cemetery.
