Passed peacefully away at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Home on Friday, June 10, 2016, Muriel Beatrice Snooks of Victoria, age 87 years. Predeceased by husband Percy; son Herb; parents Herbert and Mary; adoptive parents Frank and Winnie Ash, George and Millie Holloway; sisters Susie, Mildred, Emily and Dora; adopted brother William. Leaving to mourn, son Fred (Fhemmy), Chilliwack, BC; daughter-in-law Carolann, Corner Brook; five grandchildren Cheryl (Jamie), Grant, Robert (Cassandra), Brian (Amanda) and Bradley (Danielle); five great-grandchildren Lauren, Mitchel, Carson, Calvin, and Nellie; two brothers Herbert Clarke, Glace Bay, NS and Lloyd Clarke, Toronto, ON; adopted sister Winnie and adopted brothers Paul, Walter and John; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Sunday, 7:30 - 9 p.m. and Monday, 10:30 a.m. - 12 noon, 2-5 p.m. 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, June 14 at 11 a.m. from the United Church and Cemetery, Victoria.
