Born October 15, 1938, formerly of Little Harbor East, Placentia Bay. Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Center surrounded by his family on June 11, 2016. His time with us was far too short but he lived a life filled with family and friends, love and laughter. Predeceased by his parents Phoebe and Solomon; in-laws Mabel and Ernest Hollett; sisters Louis (Jim), Edith (Wilson), Ethel (Harry); brothers Henry (Hilda), Llewellyn (Mildred) and brother-in-law Sam. Leaving to mourn his loving wife and best friend of 54 years, Betty-Lou and son Darrell (Lesley), his daughters Darlene (Ken) and Dena (Justin); three precious grandsons whom were adored Justin, Bobby and Mason; sister Myrtle; brothers-in-laws Ralph (Barb), Derrick (Pat), Terry (Rose) and Harry (Sue) and sister-in-law Debbie (Rick); as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and a large circle of friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Ave., Mt. Pearl on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 from 2-9 p.m. Cremation to follow.
