Passed peacefully away at Moncton Hospital May 4, 2016, Sharon Griffin, formerly of St. John's, Newfoundland. Predeceased by parents John and Carmel Griffin and brother Ronald. Leaving to mourn siblings Brenda Tricco, St. John's, Thomas Griffin (Heather), St. John's, Donna Acorn, Moncton, Reverna Cormier, Moncton; nephews Jonathon Tricco (Kathy) St. John's, Terrence Tricco (Kate Murphy) Toronto, Thomas Griffin Jr (Belinda) Edmonton, Robert Griffin (Melissa Lukings) St. John's; as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. Sharon started her long teaching career at Holy Heart of Mary High School in St John's until 1975, when she joined the staff of Petitcodiac Regional School in New Brunswick until her retirement. A Memorial Service will be held at St Patrick's Church on Tuesday, June 21st at 9:30 AM. Donations in Sharon's memory can be made to the SPCA.
