Betty Albiston

Alice Albiston of Enfield NS, 58, sock–knitter, poetry–writer, avid reader, and chocolate–lover, died June 6, 2016, in Truro.

Born in Moncton NB March 17, 1958, Alice was the daughter of the late Brenda Betty (Burgess) and Robert Lloyd Parsons. She found happiness in simple things – birds chirping every morning and frogs serenading at night; a well–dressed dining table with twinkling lights all around; her husband Dave’s good cooking accompanied by red wine, and her son’s daily uplifting phone calls.

In addition to her husband of 30 years David J.C. Albiston of Enfield and son D. Jesse Albiston of Toronto, Alice is survived by her sister B. Lynn Belliveau (Peter) of Moncton, brothers L. Lee Parsons (Isabelle LeBreux) of Toronto, James F. Parsons (Eleanor Tinkham) of Dartmouth, Jay I. Parsons (Joanne Marks) of Guelph, Alexander J. Parsons (Sandra Stewart) of Dartmouth, aunt Johanne I. Burgess of Wellesley MA; her mother–in–law Carol (Botkin Albiston) Casbourne (Dave) of Montreal, sisters–in–law Linda Albiston (Montreal) and Karen Albiston (NJ/Montreal), as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A special thank you to the wonderful staff of the East Hants VON for their care and support at home, and the Palliative team at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre.

No funeral service is planned.
