It with great sadness that the families of Walter Francis Gale announce his passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility in Corner Brook, NL, on Monday, June 13th, 2016, at the age of 94 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his 4 sons; Melvin (Line), Cecil (Diane), David (Denise), & Leander (Stella), his 2 daughters; Judy Curtis (Clarence), & Bonnie Ropson (Rupert), 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, his sister; Mrs. Helena Osmond, & Brother-in-law; John Blanchard (Ruby), also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family & friends, Francis was predeceased by his wife; Elizabeth nee Blanchard, his children; Elizabeth & George, his parents; Mary Ann & Simon Gale, his sisters; Gertrude Bushy (Emil), Millicent Osmond (Arthur), & Betty Jacobs (Willis), his brothers; Dorman (Maude) & Cecil, & brother-in-law; Joseph Osmond. The family will be receiving family & friends from the Church of The Epiphany, in Hampden, NL, on Tuesday, June 14th, 2016, from the hours of 7-9 pm, & continuing on Wednesday, June 15th, 2016, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm where also the funeral service will take place from on Thursday, June 16th, 2016, at 2 pm with Rev. Jennifer Renouf officiating with the burial to follow at the family plot of the church cemetery at the Rooms.
