The death occurred peacefully at the Colville Manor surrounded by her family on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 of Jessie Dixon (nee Rose), veteran of World War II, formerly of East Baltic, age 92 years, wife of the late Harry Dixon. Loving mother of Barbara (Ron) MacDonald and Ronnie of William's Lake, BC. Sadly missed by grandchildren Roxanne (Steve) Milgram, Rhonda (Andrew) Walsh, and Matthew (Sonya) as well as great grandchildren Luke and William Walsh, and Blake MacDonald. Survived by brothers Waldon, Huntley, and sisters Marina Johnson, and Anita Baker. Predeceased by parents Wallace and Olive Rose, brothers Lyman, Herbert, Robert, Alvin, sisters Myrtle, Rita, Mavis, and 2 brothers in infancy. Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris for visitation on Saturday, June 18, 2016 from 4-7 pm. Funeral service to be held at Kingsboro Baptist Church on Sunday, June 19, 2016 with funeral service to be celebrated at 2 pm. Interment in Kingsboro cemetery. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion are asked to assemble at the Funeral Home at 3:45 pm for a prayer service.
