Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, June 13, 2016, Albert Rudolph Jenkins of Western Bay, age 87 years. Predeceased by, son: Chris; parents: Albert and Gertrude; sisters: Lillian Jenkins and Sarah Sellars; half-brothers: John, Michael, and Alec; half-sisters: Veronica and Annie Myrtle; brothers-in-law: Howard Roberts, Frank Davis, and Everett Sellars; sister-in-law: Leah Jenkins. Left to mourn, wife: Jennie; three daughters: Donna (Luke) Delaney, Burnt Point, Jackie (Terry) Halliday, and Kim (Terry) Whalen, both of Western Bay; three sons: Carl (Linda), David (Sherry), and Keith (Anna), all of Western Bay; daughter-in-law: Leona Jenkins, Western Bay; twelve grandchildren: Norman (Darlene), Lisa (Perry), Terry (Robin), Angie (Darryl), Matthew (Crystal), Todd (Renee), Mark (Crystal), Adam (Amy), Jason (Jennifer), Brian, Ryan, and Tristen; fourteen great-grandchildren: Brady, Haley, Kaitlin, Blake, Matthew, Madison, Autumn, Kyle, Cole, Keira, Rowan, Alexander, Merriam, and Emma Jane; three sisters: Mary Davis, St. John’s, Claudine Roberts, Mount Pearl, and Myrtle Warren (Bud Chisholm), Ontario; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel’s Funeral Home, Western Bay. Rev. Roscoe Cole conducted the Funeral Service on Thursday, June 16 from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Western Bay.
