Passed suddenly away at the Health Sciences Complex, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, June 15, 2016, Don Nickerson, age 78 years. Predeceased by his parents, Allen and Hesther Nickerson. Leaving to cherish his memory his loving wife and best friend of 30 years, Ruth (nee Bowering); daughters: Kelly (Emile), Erin (Brent) and Tara; stepsons: Tony (Lisa) and Jason (Andrea); grandchildren: Cameron, Marley, Nathan, Cole, Ella, Henry and Gabriel; sister, June (Robert); brother, Tom (Jenny); as well as close friends and team mates at Bally Haly Golf & Country Club, and a large circle of friends and extended family. Visitation will take place at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Saturday, June 18 and Sunday, June 19, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held from Elim Pentecostal Tabernacle, Kenmount Road, on Monday, June 20, 2016 at 11:00am. A private family interment will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery Columbarium.
