We, the family of the late Danny Berezuk, wish to extend our gratitude for all the love and support shown to us during our time of loss. Our sincere thanks and deepest appreciation to all our family, friends and neighbors who showed their kindness and support during this difficult time. Thank you to those who sent food, cards, flowers, monetary gifts and donations and to those who visited, telephoned and offered on line condolences.
Thank you to Father Peter McLeod who made the celebration of Danny’s life memorable. A special thank you to the Pallbearers: Roddy Berezuk, Roger Gallant, Paul Vardy, Larry Johnston, Billy MacDonald and Brian Mauger. Thank you to the altar servers, Eucharistic ministers and to the readers Colin MacKinnon, son-in-law and Nick Johnston, nephew. Special thanks to Agnes Gaskell and the choir for the beautiful music. Many thanks also to the St. Joseph CWL for the wonderful luncheon held at the parish hall.
A big thank you to the special people in Danny’s life who made it possible for him to stay at home. Continuing Care Coordinator Diane Huntley, VON - Leanne MacMillan, Danielle Fennell, Marlene MacIntosh, Wayne McKay, Suzanne Williams, Joanne Dunford and countless others…too many to list! Also to the Cape Breton Homemakers (you know who you are) and to Clayton for always making him smile! Their care and compassion to Danny will never be forgotten. Many thanks to the Cape Breton HandiTrans who were always there to take him to his appointments.
Thank you to Dr. Paul Hickey, Dr. M. Maharaj, Dr. Peter Poulos and the volunteers and staff of Palliative Care and to the MS Society who always supported Danny.Thank you to Peter and Danny of WJ Dooley Funeral Home for the kindness and professionalism shown to our family. We are blessed to have such special people in our lives. Your kindness will be forever in our hearts.
