Peacefully at the Dr. John Gillis Memorial Lodge with her family by her side, on Saturday, June 18, 2016 of Alma Gillis of Newtown, age 84 years. Wife of the late Bennett Gillis. Beloved mother of Blair (Carol), Meryl (Robert) Cummings, Wayne (Ena) and Janet Gillis (Barry Fitzpatrick) and Arlene (Wade) Buell. Predeceased by daughter Bonnie Jean Gillis-Roloson and infant son Brian. Also survived by son-in-law Aaron Roloson, 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. A private family service will be held on Tuesday at Belfast Cemetery. No visiting hours by personal request.
